The Exiled

For those wondering, yes, the picture is supposed to look half-finished like that. I have always wanted to do something with color and emotion like this, so I decided only to color Saavedro and the post, sort of like when a professional artist has an apple on a white table in front of a window, and the only thing in the picture with color is the apple. Here, I was trying to show how Saavedro became so intent on surviving that it was no better than if he were trapped in a white void. I personally think that this is one of the more heart-wrenching pieces I've done, but I'll leave that up to the commentators to decide.
